PRESS RELEASE ON VIET NAM-CAMBODIA
BUSINESS DIALOGUE 2026

On the afternoon of April 22, 2026, at the Headquarter of the Embassy of S.R. Viet Nam in Cambodia, Business Dialogue 2026 will be held. The Dialogue will be organized by the Embassy of S.R. Viet Nam in Cambodia in coordination with the Vietnam - Cambodia Business Association (VCBA).
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of S.R. Viet Nam to Cambodia Nguyen Minh Vu will preside the Dialogue. Speakers at the Dialogue will be Neak Oknha Kith Meng, Chairman of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce, HE.Mr. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Board of Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC); H.E.Mr. HO Sivyong, Director General of Trade Support Services, Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia; Oknha Leng Rithy, Chairman of VCBA.
The dialogue will gather approximately 200 delegates, including Vietnamese enterprises, businesses of Vietnamese origin investing in Cambodia, and Cambodian enterprises across healthcare, tourism, IT, digital transformation, and agriculture. Additionally, business delegations from Viet Nam will participate, including those from Tay Ninh, Gia Lai, Lam Dong provinces, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho City, the Business Association of Overseas Vietnamese (BAOOV), etc.
This annual conference, hosted by the Embassy of S.R. Viet Nam in Cambodia, aims to provide updates on bilateral cooperation - particularly in investment, trade, and tourism. It serves as a platform for enterprises to share experiences on operating in the Cambodian market, thereby bolstering Vietnamese investment and strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
During the opening session, Ambassador Nguyen Minh Vu, Neak Oknha Kith Meng, H.E. Chea Vuthy, H.E. Ho Sivyong, and Oknha Leng Rithy will deliver remarks. Key topics include the role of the Vietnam-Cambodia business community in promoting economic ties, updated investment incentives and opportunities in Cambodia, trade policies, import-export demands, and business prospects for communities in both countries. In the panel discussion sessions, delegates will explore investment opportunities in Healthcare, IT, Digital Transformation, and Agriculture, while sharing business practices and proposing recommendations to the governments of both countries.
